On the first play of the game, Claude Rains intercepts a Brad Johnson pass and returns it to the Bucs 28 yard line. Atomic Monsters running back Lance Largent would soon score on a 1-yard touchdown run to put Yucca Flats an early 7-0 lead.

Bucs pro-bowl safety John Lynch forces a rare Vincent Price fumble. Coach Brain-o challenged the call saying Price's knee was down but the replay was inconclusive. The fumble gave the Bucs the ball on their own 22 yard line.

Richard "Eegah" Kiel tries to make up for his disappointing season by stunting Brad Johnson. The pressure forced Johnson to throw an interception which was returned for a touchdown, giving the Monsters a 34-7 lead in the 4th quarter.
